Title: A Novel Technique for the Implementation of Dynamical Modeling of Brushless DC Motor using MATLAB/ Simulink
Abstract: This research paper aims to improve the speed and torque characteristics of the BLDC motor through the mathematical modeling and verifying it with MATLAB Simulink. The motor monitors the rotor position with the help of Hall-effect sensors which switch the inverter accordingly to drive the motor. The sinusoidal signal for the three phase inverter is generated using the SPWM technique. The BLDC motor model is developed using the Back EMF, Phase current and the electromagnetic torque equations. The paper aims to improve the speed torque characteristics by varying the factor of rotor inertia of the BLDC motor.
