Title: Multitasking operating system for multiprocessor control
Abstract: The NC-multiprocessor control system (MPCS) is primarily used for special applications and complex arrangements in which NC-standard control is not sufficient. It is not a question of multitasking or multiprocessing operation, but of multitasking and multiprocessing being used together. The structure of an appropriate operating system is described. Dynamic priority control improves multitasking and hinders blockages due to low priority tasks. The operating system is made in modules to facilitate the addition of peripheral equipment. 5 references.
