Abstract: Die 2013 veroffentliche Anthologie zur polnischen Ubersetzungstheorie, die von Piotr Boncz Bukowski und Magda Heydel herausgegeben und mit einer umfangreichen Einleitung versehen wurde, fullt in mehrerlei Hinsicht eine lange existierende Lucke. Das 360 Seiten starke Buch vereint funfzehn zentrale polnische Positionen zur Ubersetzungstheorie aus dem 20. Jahrhundert und schliest damit zu bestehenden Publikationen zur tschechischen, slowakischen oder russischen Translationswissenschaft auf. Es ist gewissermasen als Fortsetzung zu der bereits 2009 von den beiden Herausgebern veroffentlichten Anthologie Wspolczesne teorie przekladu (Wydawnictwo Znak) zu verstehen, in der auf 600 Seiten wesentliche internationale Positionen der Ubersetzungstheorie von Roman Jakobson, Paul Ricœur oder Hans-Georg Gadamer prasentiert werden. Die vorliegende Anthologie wird von den Herausgebern mit einem rund 30 Seiten starken Vorwort eingeleitet, das zugleich Orientierung und Vorgabe ist. Dabei wird der Leser mit zentralen Begrifflichkeiten der einzelnen Ansatze vertraut gemacht. Gleichzeitig skizzieren die beiden Herausgeber die Geschichte der polnischen Ubersetzungstheorie in der zweiten Halfte des 20. Jahrhunderts und liefern zentrale Positionen der polnischen Translationswissenschaft.
