Title: Research on the Reform of Applying ESP Concept in English Teaching of Application Oriented Universities
Abstract: At present, many applied universities in our country have set up specialized English Teaching in various majors. However, the old teaching system, traditional teaching ideas and teaching evaluation methods formed for a long time have a great deviation from this practical teaching concept of applied college English, which negatively effect the improvement of professional quality of English education. the analysis of universities which used application based english teaching revealed its limitations, This article promotes research and development on the application of English teaching in universities based on the application of the ESP concept. The research analysis based on the data of 300 teachers and students, collected from 12 colleges and universities which are using the application-oriented English teaching, and the comparison of the data changes of the Application-oriented College English teaching promotion and application of ESP concept to students' employment help, and the results are discussed and analyzed, and the reform strategies of Applying ESP concept in English Teaching of application-oriented undergraduate institutions are put forward, which can provide reference for the development of College English teaching Security. The investigation in this study will provide some practical suggestions for the further development of the two and find out the problems from them.
