Title: Numerical Simulation of Temperature Field in Barrel of Low Pressure Molding During Induction Heating Process Based on ANSYS Software
Abstract: According to the finite element mathematical model of electromagnetic field and temperature field,the induction heating process of barrel in low-pressure-molding melt system was simulated by using the finite element analysis software ANSYS. The general steps for the numerical simulation of coupling electromagnetic field and temperature field were given. The method of handling physical parameters of the material changing with the temperature was discussed.The induction heating process of barrel was analyzed. And the temperature distribution of barrel and its variation with time were obtained. Finally,experiments were conducted for the verification. This article provides a basis for temperature measurement and control.
