Due to rate increase from 48 sets per month in 2016 to 56 sets per month in 2017, productivity improvement is required at Tooling and Layup process. Automation has been selected due to part of company KPI which targeted to reduce minimum 15% cycle time. Figure 1 and 2 illustrate the general process flow and process cycle time pareto.
