Abstract: The study reveals that there is significant difference between project success and successful project completion. Project is said to be completed successfully when such project is delivered on time, within budget and quality. Project is said to be a success when put in use to meet users' need, performance requirement, products/service requirements. There exists significant relationship between project success and operations management. Operations management through its element of strategic planning, Cement accounting, information technology and quality control and assurance sustains a project to the point it performs, ices output to satisfy the users' need and impact positively to host environment
