Abstract: El asesinato de excombatientes en ColombiaEl 26 de noviembre de 2020 se cumplieron los primeros cuatro años de la firma del Acuerdo final para la terminación del conflicto y la construcción de una paz estable y duradera -en adelante Acuerdo Final-entre el Gobierno nacional y las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia-Ejército del Pueblo (FARC-EP) (2016).La mayoría de los balances que se realizaron sobre este primer cuatrienio coinciden en afirmar que uno de los principales problemas de la implementación son las agresiones y homicidios de los exrebeldes.Así lo dejó claro la Misión de Verificación de la ONU en su informe trimestral del 21 de enero de 2021 ante el Consejo de Seguridad (Semana, 2021, febrero 3), y también el Instituto Kroc (2020) en su Cuarto Informe sobre el estado de la Implementación del Acuerdo Final en Colombia, donde señala el asesinato de estas personas como la «principal cascada negativa» del proceso.Hasta el momento del informe de la Misión de Verificación de la ONU, los excombatientes de las FARC-EP asesinados suman 253.El año 2019 fue el de mayor cantidad de casos confirmados (77), seguido de 2020 (73), cifras alarmantes, tanto por la tasa de muertes, 1,92% de los guerrilleros desmovilizados al 1.º de febrero de 2021 -13 196 integrantes de las FARC-EP dejaron las armas-, como por los daños que se está causando con este flajelo a toda la implementación del Acuerdo Final, en especial, el incremento de la desconfianza generalizada en el proceso.
