The world conference on human rights held at Vienna in 1955 stated in its declaration that all human rights are derived from the dignity and worth inherent in human person and that the human person is the central subject of human rights and fundamental freedom. The human rights are the lawful claims of human souls for such conditions that are essential for the human being to live with dignity and with social security as per the Universal declaration of Human Rights (1948). Human rights will mean those interests of human beings , which are recognized and protected by the State. There are civil, political, legal and moral to a person. There is right to life, liberty, freedom of thought and expression and equality before law. The paper deals with the conceptual frame work on human rights, rights movement in India, Indian constitution and human rights ,the role and functions of National and State human Rights. The values of human rights education to combat the human rights violations particularly among the vulnerable groups have been discussed in this paper”.Read More
