Abstract: The article deals with the current problems in the modern labor market, namely the introduction of new professions. The emergence of new directions requires employers to review a number of specialties that do not bring significant results, and to train new specialists in accordance with the new realities of the time. Currently, many professions are considered «extinct», leaving completely or being replaced by new ones with their own special competencies. The labor market in modern conditions dictates new rules for the development of various professions. This is due not only to the economic crisis, but also to the epidemiological situation in Russia and around the world. The emergence of new professions is primarily associated with the emergence of modern technologies and tools that are not yet sufficiently known to the public. It is important to understand that such specialists of the future as a function migration manager, bioethicist, cosmogeologist, igropractician, digital linguist, SEO specialist are necessary for companies, because they will provide real help, increasing their efficiency and competitiveness in the market.
