Title: Numerical solutions of the inviscid Burgers equation with the discontinuous Galerkin method
Abstract: Solutions to the inviscid Burgers equation are numerically computed with the discontinuous Galerkin method with basis functions up to 16th order. Simulation results show that shock waves are effectively modeled and that in the absence of filtering, significant oscillations are observed.
