Title: Impact of Industry 4.0 on Economic Development and Conditions for its Successful Implementation
Abstract: The proactive introduction of advanced technologies, primarily in industrial production, which forms the main potential for socio-economic well-being of the country is the basis for long-term growth of the national economy in modern conditions of accelerating the pace of scientific and technological progress and processes. Currently, many countries during competition for leadership in the global market are trying to implement new approaches to the organization of production and management, which are offered by the concept of Industry 4.0. These include, in particular, additive technologies, robotics, composite materials, the Internet of Things, and unmanned vehicles. The methods of comparative, statistical analysis, synthesis, expert assessments were used in the study. The article presents the results of a comparative assessment of the current state of implementation of the Fourth industrial revolution technologies in the activities of organizations in different countries. The influence of Industry 4.0 on the economic development of subjects at micro- and macro-levels of management is considered. The relationship between the introduction of Industry 4.0 technologies and the dynamics of the main economic indicators of economic entities is shown. It is established that the degree and rate of achievement of the strategic goals in the field of innovative transformation of the Russian economy are insufficient to ensure accelerated economic growth based on the widespread use of advanced high technologies in comparison with the approved plans and development dynamics of leading foreign countries. It is proved that in the modern digital economy, capital productivity becomes the main factor in improving the efficiency and competitiveness of a company in the long-term period, in contrast to labor productivity, whose role in economic analysis with the introduction of automated business process management systems, robotics, is gradually decreasing. Conditions for effective implementation of the Industry 4.0 concept in Russia, considering national interests, are formulated. It is concluded that the Russian Federation has now formed sufficient potential for accelerated innovative economic growth, primarily in strategically important segments and industries from the standpoint of protecting national and economic security interests.
