Abstract: Przemyślana konstrukcja sprawia, że praca stanowi interesujące podejście do analizy złożonej materii z zakresu stosunków międzynarodowych. Struktura jest przejrzysta i logiczna, zaś teza książki wskazuje na złożoność uwarunkowań identyfikacji Uzbekistanu na arenie międzynarodowej w skomplikowanym układzie sił, jaki kształtuje się w okresie ostatnich dwóch dekad. (…) Autor dobrze rozpoznał uwarunkowania procesu decyzyjnego w uzbeckiej polityce wobec Rosji, podkreślając przede wszystkim rolę czynnika osobowościowego przywódcy państwa. Autor sięga także do metod historyczno-opisowych i porównawczych, co pozwala mu ująć politykę zagraniczną Uzbekistanu szeroko i dynamicznie.Z recenzji dr. hab. prof.
