Title: WITHDRAWN: Mechanical properties of concrete made with coarse and fine recycled aggregates
Abstract: The present research gives the results of an experimental test for investigating the mechanical features of concrete made with the coarse recycled aggregate, fine recycled aggregate, and both of coarse and fine recycled aggregate. Two percentages of replacement 50% and 100% was used for each type of recycled aggregate concrete. Sixty three specimens were tested to study mechanical features of concrete (splitting tensile, compressive, & flexural). Test results indicated that the percentage of compressive strength declines at different percentage of the recycled fine and coarse aggregates are more than the tensile and flexural strength. Also, it was found that applying the recycled coarse and fine aggregates in concrete mixes with percentage of replacement 100% resulted in a less decreases in the strength. Test results indicated, also, recycled fine aggregate concrete percentage of replacement 100% could be utilized properly for fabricating concrete with reasonable strength features. This is beneficial to resolve environmental issues due to disposal of such materials.
