Title: Conversion of Fruit Waste for Biofertilizer
Abstract: Abundant use of chemical fertilizers has attracted the attention of everyone in across the globe as the use of inorganic fertilizers is leading to depletion of the valuable nutrients and microbial flora from the soil and also causing many environmental hazards. To overcome this environmental hazard and protect soil, biofertilizers provide the promising solution to the problem. Everyone is fascinated with the word organic and prefers organically produced products. The organic products are produced with the help of biofertilizers. These biological fertilizers are produced by the number of methods using variety of raw material. In this paper, authors have tried to produce biofertilizer using waste fruit peels. The biological fertilizer made from fruit peel restrain different properties like antioxidative, antiinflammatory, antimicrobial, nutraceutical, polyphenolic, and many more. The fruit scarps helps in increasing the nutrient level of soil and as well as manage waste also. The fertilizer produced from the waste fruit material maintains nutrient pool in soil.
