Title: Development of a Software Suite for Environmental Synthesis and Simulation for Short-Range ADAS Radar
Abstract: This paper reviews the development of a software suite designed to calculate environmental radiolocational parameters and to simulate signals reflected from user predefined objects. The program suite is based on finite difference time domain method, that allows to achieve required calculation accuracy. This program suite is supposed to be used with ADAS radars either while its validation and verification or while conducting experiments on evaluation of its efficiency to detect targets in varying road conditions in a laboratory. Using more flexible and functional control systems will allow user to identify most of the problems at an early stage of radar design and avoid time and money losses in field tests.
