Title: The comparison of three mode of insulin injection in type 2 diabetes after short-term intensive therapy of CSII
Abstract: Objective To compare the rate of success, level of blood glucose control and the rate of hypoglycemia between insulin multiple daily injection(MDI)and mixed insulin therapy in type 2 diabetes after short-term intensive therapy of continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion(CSⅡ).Methods Patients with type 2 diabetes used short-term intensive therapy of CSII to control glucose level.when the glucose level acquired good control after about 7 days, the patients were randomly divided into 3 groups to undergo MDI(glargine and aspart, group A),MDI(human insulin and NPH insulin, group B)or mixed insulin bis in die(premixed human insulin 30/70,group C).Compare the condition of blood glucose level including the rate of success, average glucose level, glucose fluctuation and the rate of hypoglycemia. Results There was no statistical difference in the rate of success between group A and group B(P0.05),the rate of glucose control in group A and group B was greatly higher than group C(respectively P0.001 and P0.05);There was no statistical difference in glucose fluctuation within the three groups(all P0.05);The rate of hypoglycemia between group A and group B,or between group B and group C had no statistical difference(P0.05),but there was significant difference between group A and group C,the rate of hypoglycemia of group A was less than group C(P0.05).Conclusion The three mode of insulin injection could achieve similar level of glucose control in the condition of glucose well-controlled,group A and group B had higher rate of success and less incidence of hypoglycemia compared with group C,the mode of MDI had visible efficacy and more safety.
