According to the test results, the threshold temperatures were (7.1616±1.0873) ℃ for the eggs, (6.0101±1.4257) ℃ for the first instar nymphs, (6.7603±1.6978) ℃ for the second instar nymphs, (5.4031±1.0578) ℃ for the third instar nymphs, (6.5625± 1.3354) ℃ for the fourth instar nymphs, (6.8440±1.0360) ℃ for the preoviposition period and (6.1629±1.4883) ℃ for the whole generation. The effective accumulative temperatures were (189.9493±14.7983) ℃ for the eggs, (119.3816±6.2784) ℃ for the first instar nymphs, (90.7436±5.0085) ℃ for the second instar nymphs, (104.7318±5.5204) ℃ for the third instar nymphs, (186.4216±11.2672) ℃ for the fourth instar nymphs, (33.1918±1.8454) ℃ for the preoviposition period and (733.1356±63.3965) ℃ for the whole generation. Based on the investigation of its annual life history and overwintering, it was concluded that the occurrence of P.canarium was 8 generations annually in Fuzhou.Read More
