Title: Augmentative/alternative system for public communication for children with cerebral palsy
Abstract: The proposed augmentative/alternative system of communication provides a solution for children with language disabilities due to cerebral palsy. This assistive system allows them to communicate through icons without the intervention of a therapist. This methodology favors independent conversations between four children; each one of them utilizes an input device according to his/her residual motor functions.
