Title: PENGARUH JUMLAH KEPADATAN YANG BERBEDA TERHADAP KELULUSHIDUPAN IKAN PATIN (Pangasius pangasius) PADA TRANSPORTASI SISTEM TERTUTUP
Abstract: This research activity was carried out on 23-24 April 2020 in Tulungagung, East Java. The method used in this study is the experimental method, which basically conducts experiments to see results. The results of the experiment will confirm how the position of the relationship between the variables investigated.
This study aims to determine the survival rate of catfish (Pangasius pangasius) seeds, with different densities transported in a closed system. The seeds used are catfish seeds obtained from Tulungagung - East Java with a length of 7-9 cm. As a treatment in this study were different stocking densities. Where treatment A is stocking 50 tails, treatment B 75 tails and treatment C 100 tails. Seed transportation is carried out for 12 hours, which first catfish seeds are fasted for 18 hours. Retrieval of data in this study was carried out 3 times. The research container used is a polyprophilen plastic bag with a size of 28x50 cm. Catfish seeds that have been packaged in plastic bags are put in a transport car. Survival rate of catfish seedlings is calculated when the seeds have arrived at the destination location after a 12 hour journey.
The results showed that the survival rate of catfish (Pangasius pangasius) on transportation for 12 hours with different densities obtained results where treatment A with density of catfish 50 tails the survival rate was 100.00%, treatment B with a density of 75 tails the survival rate his life was 96.89% and treatment C with a density of 100 tails his survival rate was 93.33%. The results showed that the survival rate of catfish seedlings at different density treatments that were transported in a closed manner was still within the tolerance limits in fish culture transportation.
