The subjects of this study were 308 students (148 males, 160 ...This research aimed to examine the mediation effects of self-concept clarity on the relation between covert narcissism and social anxiety. The subjects of this study were 308 students (148 males, 160 females) who take cultural subjects in C, D, C university in Gwang-Ju and Chon-Nam. The measurement tools such as covert narcissism scale(CNS), social interaction anxiety scale(SIAS), and self-concept clarity(SCCS) were utilized. Collected research materials have analyzed by using SPSS 18.0. The result of this study can be summarized as follows. First, covert narcissism showed a significant positive correlation with social anxiety. Second, covert narcissism showed a significant negative correlation with self-concept clarity. Third, self- concept clarity showed a significant negative correlation with social anxiety. Lastly, self-concept clarity partially mediated effect of covert narcissism on social anxiety. The study is significant in the sense that it has indicated the importance of self-concept clarity to consult the college students who have social anxiety. This study ends with implications limitations, and suggestion for future studies.Read More
