Abstract: Corruption, This evil phenomenon is found in all developing countries big and small, rich and poor but it is in the developing world that its effects are most destructive. Corruption hurts the poor disproportionately by diverting funds intended for development, undermining a Government’s ability to provide basic services, feeding inequality and injustice and discouraging foreign aid and investment. Corruption is a key element in economic underperformance and a major obstacle to poverty alleviation and development. Corruption is a vast and complex matter .corruption means to make or become defiled .Corruption may originate from unsolved problems, unfinished works, vicious politics, Weak administration and many other related or relevant things. According to Indian sociologist Ramnath Sharma “In corruption a person usually neglects his specified duty in order to have an undue advantage a corruption person takes illegal advantages by neglecting duty and misusing power . Bribery, misuse of power, nepotism, avarice for wealth and social condition are the root of corruption. A corrupted person can do everything for his own self. Social value is fruitless to him.
