Title: A Novel Approach with Field-Circuit Co-Simulation and Design of the Receiver Front- End
Abstract: In this paper, a novel approach with field-circuit cosimulation and design of the receiver front-end at X-band is introduced. The design of an integrated four-channel transceiver module is firstly demonstrated, then, the field-circuit cosimulation based on the field simulation tool named Computer Simulation Technology (CST) and the circuit simulation tool named Advanced Design System (ADS) is given. Finally, the measurement results are given, in agreement with the simulation results. In conclusion, a novel method of designing radio frequency (RF) circuit's incorporating field-circuit co-simulation is presented to achieve a precise design of the receiver front-end, with practical engineering value, realizing the precise analysis of receiver front-end.
