Title: Climate atmospheric parameters and surface albedo in the Russian Arctic in spring
Abstract: We study four test areas near the Arctic Russian coast of Eurasia in April 2010-2016. The near surface air temperature was studied in dependence of variations in solar incident radiation, surface albedo, column content of black carbon in the atmosphere, and the amount of solid and liquid precipitation. The data from two reanalysis systems of satellite information and measured values – MERRA-2 and WATCH – are used. We also study variability in daily averaged values of those parameters in a monthly scale (trends), as well in day-to-day scale by the method of multiple linear regression in relation to air temperature The shifts of albedo radiative effect were estimated for different areas of the Russian Arctic in April.
