Above T G , the dynamics of DCC domains is dominated by thermal fluctuations leading to fluctuating orientation of the chiral field in a given domain. It implies that disorientation of chiral field, and hence DCC formation may happen even in relatively lower energy collisions where the temperature only reaches T G , and never rises to T c . It also means that detection of DCC cannot be taken as a signal for an intermediate chirally symmetric phase of matter. Using these considerations, we estimate the probability distribution for DCC domains as a function of the chiral angle.Read More
