Abstract: The graduation thesis explains and defines the thread, as well as the most commonly used procedures for making threads. The thread is the basic part of the screw and nut through which external forces are transmitted, and in our regions the metric thread is most often used. The vast majority of threads are right and normal pitch, and in exceptional cases our final steps are used. Threads are mostly used in screw connections, providing them with mobility and disassembly. They are most often made by turning and can be made and processed by other processes by separation or without separation of particles, manually or by machine. The choice of fabrication method depends on the quality of the workpiece material, the dimensions of the threaded joint, the batch sizes and the thread quality requirements. Modern threading processes have made it possible to improve the quality and shorten the threading time, which are otherwise more difficult to extract on classic machines or their manufacturing process is time-consuming.
