Abstract: Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) refers to the individual behavior that is flexible, notopenly or acknowledged by the official reward system. OCB indicates the alleged ‘extra-role behavior,’which significantly impacts workplaces. This study establishes the positive impacts of OCB that extends toboth individual employee behaviors and overall organizational citizenship behavior. The current study willuse past available research works and literature on OCB to understand the impact of OCB on workplacesthrough expounding on the following concepts: service-focused behaviors, contextual performance,innovation-promoting behaviors, antecedents, and consequences of OCB.
