Title: Measuring the e sense of social security in rural areas (case study: villages of Bradost rural district of Urmia county)
Abstract: Introduction: Safety is a precondition for any social, economic, cultural and political development, and is related to the level of development of societies. Awareness of the status of the sense of security of residents of a community has an effective role in identifying the challenges and strategies for the development of a community and works to strengthen its infrastructure. Over the past few years, there have been various issues in the rural areas of Urmia which have affected the level of security indicators in this area and this impact has been on various aspects of social security and part of these problems due to neglect of effective indicators This has been the case. The present study examines the level of social security with the indicators of human security, ethical security, economic security, location security, trust in the police, interpersonal trust, institutional trust and military security in the villages of Bradost rural district of Urmia.
Method: The present study is a descriptive - evaluation method and is in terms of its purpose. Data and information are collected in both library and field. The statistical population of the study is 11464 residents of the villages of Bradost district. Out of this population, the population of 8964 people (8964), based on the Cochran formula, was selected as 368 individuals. In order to understand the relationship between variables, Spearman's correlation coefficient test was used to identify the difference in security sense of the dual nominal variables from t test and multiple names variables from the f test and finally, to determine the dimensions of social safety, we used one-variable t-test.
Findings: The findings of the research indicate that the dimensions of social security considered the institutional trust index with the average (2.99) ranked first and the moral safety index with the average (2.65) in the eighth and lowest rank This reflects the low and mediocre level of social security among the villagers in the village of Bradost.
Conclusion: The social security index, which is combined with its measured indicators, represents an average of 3.10, which suggests that the villagers in the Bradost district have a relatively good sense of security, but the economic and moral security is at a very low level have.
