Title: Defining an Adjective by Means of Its Grammatical Collocators
Abstract: The collocational method pioneered by the author and followed in his works for years reveals that even grammatical words such as prepositions and some conjunctions (that), as well as grammatical categories (the infinitive) when collocating with adjectives can lead to semantic defi nitions of adjectives. In the paper the process for achieving this goal has been exemplified by the adjective pleased.
