Each component of coastal sports tourism resources has important value and significance for the utilization and development of sports resources, and plays different roles and functions in sports tourism. Sports tourism is a new industry covering tourism industry and sports industry. How coastal cities combine their own resources and location advantages to develop unique tourism products has become an urgent problem to be solved. The proportion of sports tourism in tourism market share is increasing year by year, which gradually shows its important position in social and economic development. This paper analyzes the evaluation methods of water sports tourism resources in coastal cities, hoping to provide reference for the development of sports tourism industry in China.
