Title: Effect of multilayer selective radiative anti-reflective coating on crystalline silicon photovoltaics for operating temperature reduction
Abstract: Low heat transfer coefficient of ethylene-vinyl acetate hinders heat evacuation, and this causes a rise in temperature of the laminated solar module under AM1.5 spectrum. A new selective radiative antireflective coating (SR-ARC) has been proposed for the temperature reduction of the solar module and also effort has been made to improve the absorption in the 300–1100 nm wavelength range. We have compared the single, dual, triple and quad-layer of different transparent ARC materials with a different combination. In each category, we have optimised the SiO2, Al2O3, Si3N4 and TiO2 thin films layer stack as ARC coating and then compared the stacks for their SR-ARC properties. .
