Title: A Model for Minimizing Hospital Service Costs
Abstract: When providing health care services to patients who come to visit the hospital, it is necessary to provide maximum services, the maximum services referred to in this study are not only due to the availability of facilities needed by patients, but also must maximize services by providing minimum costs. At present hospital services in Indonesia are relatively expensive, although almost all Indonesians have been covered by free health services by Health Social Security Organizing Agency (BPJS). And even now this is a new problem for the country because the existence of free health services causes many patients to come to the hospital for treatment, from the negative side it causes the government to be too burdened to bear all the costs of health services. By maximizing health care services for patients at XYZ hospitals using linear integer programming by minimizing all costs incurred to provide services to patients while modeling smart health services by minimizing outpatient care costs, emergency care costs, hospitalization costs, medical care costs and operating room rental costs for patients i. The results of this study obtain information that the maximum value of the objective function is 180.00 at the 3rd iteration step, so the model can minimize all maintenance costs incurred.
