Each of them...This article is devoted to the consideration, description and attribution of book volumes of the many-volume works of classics of Ukrainian and world literature of the nineteenth century. Each of them has its own separate history of publication, and is distinguished both in stylistic and meaningful content.I. H. Spasky Nizhyn Museum of Local History was fortunate enough to have in his holdings some of these treasures of world literature, works by T. Shevchenko, P. Kulish, G. Heine, O. Pushkin, I. Turgenev and others. It should be noted that they all have their own common features: the place of publication, since virtually all of them were published in the proselytizing printing houses of St. Petersburg and are fiction. The year and the editors are different, as well as the typography of the editions, which adds excellent stylistic qualities to each of them.Thus, having analyzed the publications of the works of Ukrainian and foreign writers in the Nizhyn Museum of Local History, they were made in the nineteenth century, that they all came to light mainly in the second half of the nineteenth century, in the leading printing houses of St. Petersburg. Famous booksellers, who had their own bookstores and publishers, joined the publication only after obtaining the right to print these masterpieces of national and world literature. These included such influential figures in the Russian Empire as: A. Marx, M. Wolf, Ya. Isakov, F. Ansky and others. For the appearance of works of famous classics of national and world literature: T. Shevchenko, P. Kulish, M. Gogol, V. Dal, G. Heine, G. Ferry, O. Pushkin, M. Lomonosov, М. Nekrasov and others, famous literary critics and film editors were involved in the work. Nineteenth century, such as: M. Tykhonravov, G. Gennadi, P. Yefremov and others. Each of these books is of great stock-exponential importance, inasmuch as it not only has a distinct stylized design but also has an authentic meaningful content, an important cultural asset for many generations.Read More
