Average social support score was (38.11±6.98) with a middle level. Moreover, the trait anxiety was negatively correlated to subjective support, objective support and rate of support utilization (r=-0.262, -0.210, -0.290; P<0.05) .
Conclusions
Age, gender, education, position and duties are the factors that affect the trait anxiety and the social support of pediatric nurses. Moreover, higher degree in the social support is related to lower trait anxiety level.
