Title: Comparative study of efficacy of small incision video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery and thoracic surgery on lung cancer
Abstract: Objective
To compare the clinical effect of small incision video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery(VATS) and thoracic surgery on lung cancer.
Methods
A total of 62 lung cancer patients from March 2013 to July 2015 were randomly selected. According to the different surgical options, the patients were divided them into control group and observation group. The control group underwent conventional open surgery, and the observation group received small incision VATS. Surgery condition, postoperative complications and coagulation changes of the two groups were observed and analyzed.
Results
The blood loss in observation group were significantly lower than that in the control group, the operation time, drainage time and hospital stay were significantly shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05). In the observation group, the levels of PLT, APTT were significantly higher than those in the control group, the levels of DD, PT were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).
Conclusions
Compared with thoracotomy, using small incision VATS for lung cancer treatment can effectively reduce the surgical trauma, avoid serious impact on the body’s clotting mechanism, and can help better recovery, so it is recommended to further promote clinical.
