Title: Effect of the noninvasive monitoring on the treatment of the delayed cerebral edema patients with acute cerebral hemorrhage through the mannitol
Abstract: Objective To evaluate the effect of the noninvasive monitoring on the treatment of the delayed cerebral edema patients with acute cerebral hemorrhage through the mannitol .Methods Sixty patients with acute cerebral hemorrhage from October 2012 to October 2013 were chosen and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group , each with 30 cases. The control group received the routine nursing , and the observation group received the nursing program of noninvasive monitoring .The incidence rate , the severity and comprehensive outcome of cerebral edema during the use of mannitol were compared between two groups. Results The incidence rates of CT diagnosis and noninvasive monitoring of cerebral edema were not significant differences between two groups (χ2 =0.069,0.606, respectively;P〉0.05).The result of cerebral CT on the fourteenth day of treatment showed that the cases of mild , moderate and severe cerebral edema were respectively 4, 1, 0 cases in the observation group , and were 2, 12, 0 cases in the control group , and the difference was statistically significant (Z=-2.023,P=0.043).The cases of the defect of peripheral nerve function, intracranial hypertension , deep vein thrombosis, peptic ulcer and infection were respectively 2, 3, 0, 1, 2 cases in the observation group , and were lower than those of the control group , and the differences were statistically significant (χ2 =4.320,4.812,6.667,9.017,5.455, respectively;P〈0.05).Conclusions The nursing program of noninvasive monitoring is very important , and can effectively improve the safety in the patients with cerebral hemorrhage during the use of mannitol .
