Title: Clinical observation of fluid nitrogen cryoperserved tasal plate and palpebral conjunctiva transplantation for repairing of tarsus defect
Abstract: Objective To repair tarsus defect caused by excision eyelid neoplasm by transplantation of the fluid nitrogrn cryoperserved tarsal plate and palpebral conjunctiva. Methods The defect was reconstructed by transplantation of the fluid nitrogen cryoperserved tarsal plate and palpebral conjunctiva in 21 cases(21 eyes),Results In the following up 3-80 months after the operation,10 eyes in all the 21 cases been treated were cured;11 eyes were improved and 1 eye failed.Because we did not change the tarsal plate and palpebral conjunctiva when we excided the eyelid neoplasm for the second time. Conclusion The cryoperserved tarsal plate and palpebral conjunctiva employed in repairing eyelid defect is easily for operation and convenience to preserve,it is a ideal material with slight rejection after transplantation operation. The effects are fairly good.
