New technologies, such as three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy (3D-CRT), intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), volumetric modulated radiation therapy (VMAT) and tomo therapy substantially increase physical conformalty of tumor target and treatment efficiency. But in clinical practice of radiation oncology, there are still a number of urgent problems. In recent years, advances in radiotherapy technology, for example, biology guided radiation therapy, imaging guided radiation therapy, dose guided radiation therapy and radiomics, improve the accuracy of positioning, planning, delivery and prognosis.
