Title: Clinical application and research progress of tumor infiltrating lymphocytes in malignant tumor
Abstract: Tumor infiltrating lymphocytes(TILs) are tumor antigen-specific CD4+ and CD8+ T cells, isolated from tumor tissues. A series of clinical trials have shown that TILs in combination with high-dose interleukin-2 can acquire positive response rates of approximately 50% in patients with highly invasive and refractory malignant melanoma. While many studies have shown that the inhibitory sufacereceptor of TILs was up regulated and the function of the cell is in a state of inhibition, which are called exhausted T cells. And it is often not available to isolate TILs from tumor tissue. This essay aims to introduce the TILs clinical application, the mechanism for the dysfunction of TILs and the approach to isolate tumor specific CD8+ TILs from peripheral blood.
