Title: The efficacy of bisoprolol in the treatment of chronic heart failure
Abstract: Objective To analyze the efficacy of bisoprolol for chronic heart failure, and to assess the value of bisoprolol therapy in the treatment of chronic heart failure. Methods 88 patients with chronic heart failure were randomly divided into routine therapy group (control group) and bisoprolol group (study group),44 for each group. The efficacy and side effects of the two different therapies were compared between the two group. Results The study group was superior to the control group in the total effectiveness rate (88.63% vs.70.45%,P>0.05).Bradycardia developed in 3 patients in the control group and in 4 in the study group. No other adverse reactions occurred in the two groups during treatment (P>0.05).Conclusions Additional bisoprolol is more efficacious than routine therapy in the treatment of chronic heart failure, and it does not increase the incidence rate of side effects.
