Title: Study on monitoring plasma concentration of isoniazid in patients with tuberculosis complicated with chronic liver disease
Abstract: Objective To observe pharmacokinetics of isoniazid in patients with tuberculosis complicated with chronic liver disease. Methods 60 patients with tuberculosis were divided into observation group (30 cases) and control group (30 cases),according to whether complicated with chronic liver disease. The plasma concentration of isoniazid was detected before and at 1,2,4,6,8 and 12 h after taking in the course of antituberculosis. Results The plasma concentration of isoniazid in each time point of observation group was higher than that of control group ( P <0.05 or P <0.01),and the peak time of observatin group was faster than that of control group ( P <0.05).The peak concentration in observation group was higher than that of control group,so was the maintenance time of effective concentration ( P <0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusions During the treatment of patients with tuberculosis complicated with chronic liver disease, the plasma concentration of antituberculosis drugs should be monitored. It is valuable to formulate individualized therapy program.
