Abstract:Autoimmune diseases(AID) are due to the lack of autoantigen immune tolerance.They are chronic and heterogeneous conditions that affect specific target organs or multiple organ systems.If AID affect he...Autoimmune diseases(AID) are due to the lack of autoantigen immune tolerance.They are chronic and heterogeneous conditions that affect specific target organs or multiple organ systems.If AID affect hematopoietic function, thrombocytopenia can happen for modifications of hematological system function.There are similar pathogenesis between AID patients with thrombocytopenia and immune thrombocytopenia patients.The two diseases are associated with immunization.The pathogenesis include destruction and reduced production of platelet.Their pathogenesis are not exactly the same.In this paper, the progress in pathophysiology of AID patients with thrombocytopenia are represented by destruction and formation of platelet.
