Title: Compliance and its influencing factors of elderly patients with essential hypertension
Abstract: Objective To explore the compliance and its influencing factors of elderly patients with essential hypertension, so as to provide evidence for health education for them. Methods A structured questionnaire and interview were randomly carried out by 186 elderly patients with essential hypertension.Results The average score of compliance was 34. 04 ± 7.41. The influncing factors of the patients' compliance were family function, symptoms of the illness, duration, living manner, gender and family income.Conclusions The compliance of elderly hypertension was at middle level, patients' family and illness were the main influncing factors.
