Title: The Role Of Instructional Leadership On School Quality Through School Climate As A Mediator
Abstract: The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of instructional leadership on school quality throug school climate as a mediatior. This study used quantitative approach and explanatory survey method with SEM Analysis on 162 junior high school teachers in Bandung City. This study used questionnaire to collect the data. The results showed that the three variables had a high average value, especially in the instructional leadership variable (very high), then school climate and school quality. Instructional leadership directly influenced school quality. School climate directly influenced school quality. School climate did not significantly mediate the influence of instructional leadership on school quality. It can be stated that the relationship between the two variables were direct effect. It can be concluded that instructional leadership and school climate directly influenced school quality.
