Abstract: Titan is Saturn's largest satellite and the second largest moon in our Solar system. Several space missions (essentially the on-going Cassini-Huygens) and ground-based observations have revealed Titan to be an unique world on its own bearing similarities to our own planet through its atmospheric composition and dynamics, organic chemistry and geomorphological features, among other. The moon's astrobiological potential is also significant.
