In this paper, the distribution of the Poynting energy flow of ELF near-field propagation along the ocean floor is treated both analytically and numerically. It is demonstrated that the plotted Poynting vectors indicate approximately the propagation direction of the energy flow, and the energy decays dramatically due to high loss in sea water while it penetrates into the ocean floor.Read More
