Title: Knowledge Management and Transfer to the Future’s World Largest Project in Space : NASA’s Mission Roadmap to Mars in 2033
Abstract: In December 2017, US President Donald J. Trump signed Space Policy Directive-1 (SPD-1). The US President directed the NASA “to lead an innovative and sustainable program of exploration with commercial and international partners to enable human expansion across the solar system and bring back to Earth new knowledge and opportunities. In September 2018, NASA released “The National Space Exploration Campaign report”, a high-level strategy document that establishes a spaceflight program for future human exploration of the Moon and Mars. NASA will expand its relationships and collaborations with other agencies to take advantage of their expertise and achievement of the nation's space goal. In this paper, we will provide brief description of the NASA's Mission Roadmap to Mars in 2033 based on the NASA, “Space Exploration Campaign Report”, and try to develop an idea of the new system engineering concept for the knowledge management and knowledge transfer to the future's world largest project in space.
