Title: Nature Inspired Load Balancing Algorithms- A Review
Abstract: Cloud computing is a new paradigm for distributed large scale computing over internet. It is a constantly developing technology providing innovative drift in computing using virtualization of resources. Thus, along with having many advantages there remain some critical concerns that are needed to be resolved to develop the dependability and consistency of cloud. With the introduction of newer applications results in constant increase of load on the cloud servers. Due to this increase in the load, efficient utilization of the resources becomes difficult and as a result it becomes necessary to introduce the concept of load balancing. The principal objective of load balancing includes distribution of the load equally among various nodes of distributed computing environment such that these nodes are neither overloaded nor under loaded resulting in proper resource utilization and improved response time. In this paper we have done a comprehensive summary of load balancing algorithms available for cloud computing which are inspired by natural phenomenon for resolving the issues associated with the load balancing.
