Title: The Influence of Synaptic Delay Between Striatal Neurons on Synchronization
Abstract: The effect of synaptic delay of Striatum region nerve cells in Basal Ganglia on the synchronization of cellular activity in Striatum and Thalamus regions was investigated. For this purpose, a detailed model of Basal Ganglia consisting of Striatum, Globus Pallidus internal, Globus Pallidus external, Subthalamic nucleus, Substantia Nigra Pars Reticulate sections is formed, and the effect of decrease in dopamine amount and connectivity on the activity of Basal ganglia and Thalamus has been examined for different synaptic delays.
