Title: Factores cognitivos y estrategias de prevención de las conductas sexuales de riesgo (enfermedades de transmision sexual, SIDA y embarazos no deseados) en los adolescentes
Abstract: The two basic aims of this paper are the following ones : firstly, to study the evolution of cognitions, taboos, attitudes and sexual behaviour of two samples of adolescents from the Tetuan’s district (Madrid). A sample of 115 adolescents (71 boys and 42 girls), with an average age of 15,7% years old was measured by the Information, Attitudes and Sexual Behaviour Adolescents Questionnaire (C.I.A.C.). The results were compared with those obtained eight years ago from another sample of adolescents of similar characteristics. Secondly, to draw from the obtained data some methodological consideration about efficacy and efficiency of interventions designed to promote safer sexual behaviour among young people. Coming to conclusion, the most appropriate interventions are those that take into account the contributions of basic research of all the social sciences on origins and control of sexual behaviour, and not only those contributions of social cognition model
